Schneier on the Antivirus Industry and State Sponsored Malware

Bruce Schneier has posted great article on state sponsored malware and how antivirus vendors may potentially be pressured by a government into effectively not detecting them. While the majority of vendors have assured Schneier that they would never do such a thing I think it is patently obvious that antivirus vendors, particularly those in the United States could potentially be compelled to do whatever the government chooses.
